Coronavirus CT: Infection Rate, Hospitalizations Climbing –

These are the latest town-by-town breakdowns of confirmed coronavirus cases across Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT The coronavirus infection rate in the state took a sharp turn in the wrong direction this week, according to the latest data from the Department of Public Health.
The infection rate jumped to 3 percent in the past 24 hours, on the back of 434 new cases. An additional 14,653 people were tested, bringing the state total to 2,051,670.
Deaths attributed to COVID-19 also climbed by five. Since the pandemic began, there have now been 64,455 cases in the state and 4,559 deaths.
